I arrived in Littlefield on Monday, Jan 9, 2012. Before nightfall we received the news that my cousin Oscar Zapata's mother in law, Anita, had passed away. Anita was a Cursillista and a member of Littlefield Sacred Heart Church. Loved by so many. She had a number of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She had been living with her daughter, Lola Zapata and her family. May you rest in peace, Anita. Tonight they had the rosary and I was able to attend with my friend, Liz. It was very happy, uplifting, and peaceful.
